I love being creative and during my school days I enjoyed all art and crafts lessons. Woodwork was one of my favourite classes and because of this I chose to take it as one of my GCSE’s.
After receiving all the grades I needed to get into college from school I went to Thanet College to study art, photography and textiles. On completion of this course I now have a certificate for a BTEC First Diploma in Design.
Even as a child I have always enjoyed anything creative. Making things out of bits and pieces, painting and drawing. And at the age of 13 I discovered how much I enjoyed sketching. My Father being artistic himself encouraged me to go out drawing with him and doing so, I managed to build up a good portfolio.
Being interested in art at school I chose this subject for one of my GCSE ‘s
I then managed to secure a place at Kent and Canterbury art collage, where I achieved my national diploma qualification.
At the age of 19 I worked for a sign company painting artwork onto Victorian pub and trade signs.
Since then I have taken on commissions for wall murals, portraits and pet portraits which I really love.

Following my time at Thanet College I knew I had more of an interest in designing and making crafts so I looked into a number of options as what to study next, I chose a silver smith course at Rochester College designing and making silver jewellery, the practical side to this subject was most enjoyable and by successfully completing this course I also have a BTEC National Diploma in Jewellery Design.
A few years on from college Sarah and I started up a small business together within a shop bringing our artistic skills together and selling all of our creations, cards, paintings, wooden accessories, silver jewellery and hand painted furniture. The experience was a real joy with great memories to cherish.
Now we are taking a different direction by working from home and concentrating on the crafts we both love creating together. We hope you will get as much joy out of our creations as we do!
Our prices are based on the materials we use and the time and care we put into individually making and painting each item.
One of our hand made templates is drawn on the wood, the item is then cut out on a band saw, sanded smooth, painted and sanded again to give a distressed finish ready for the chosen art work to be painted on. We use a wax polish to cover the item, this is buffed to give a light sheen and to protect it, then for hanging items the wire is attached.
Because our items are all individually hand made and hand painted, please allow for slight differences to the images shown in our gallery.
